To make this soup you will need -
Enough water to cover all the vegetables in the pan
1 vegetable stock cube (or you can use a chicken stock cube if you prefer)
Roughly chop the vegetables and place them into a large saucepan.
Cover them with water and then crumble in the stock cube.
Bring to the boil and simmer until the vegetables are all softened.
Once the vegetables are cooked, puree them in the water you cooked them in, the pour back into the pan on a low heat and add some milk until you get the consistency you would like for your soup.
Season with black pepper and serve with some warm crusty bread.
